Frequently asked questions
What is Sight.ai?
Sight.ai is a unified intelligence platform for biological imaging. It turns microscopy data, fixed and live, across all modalities and scales into a coherent, standardised and computable representation of biology, so researchers can go from pixels to decisions in one place instead of stitching together dozens of disconnected tools.
Who is Sight.ai for?
Sight.ai is built for scientists and teams who work with microscopy images every day: pharma and biotech R&D groups, CROs, academic core facilities and individual researchers in cell biology, virology, drug discovery, and translational research. You don't need to be a computational expert to use it.
What problem does Sight.ai solve?
Modern imaging experiments can generate terabytes of data but extracting biological insight still depends on fragile, hand-built pipelines in Python, MATLAB, or R that are local, dataset-specific, and tied to the person who built them. Sight.ai that patchwork with a single auditable workflow, improving reproducibility, traceability, and speed.
What is Sight.all?
Sight.all is our core platform: the multimodal substrate that collapses a fragmented multi-tool imaging pipeline into one system. It is organised in four functional layers: acquisition, recognition, quantification and knowledge, under one codebase, one compliance posture and one pricing grid.
Which microscopy modalities and data types does Sight.ai support?
Sight.all is designed to integrate all major microscopy modalities, fixed and live, across scales including fluorescence, label-free approaches such as holotomography, live-cell time-lapse, and multiplexed tissue imaging. If you have a modality or file format you're unsure about, contact us and we'll confirm compatibility.
How do I access Sight.ai, is it software I install?
Sight.all is delivered as SaaS, with a programmatic API for teams that want to integrate it into their own infrastructure and automated workflows. That means no fragile local installs, and the same validated environment for everyone on your team.
Can Sight.ai integrate with our existing instruments and data infrastructure?
Yes. The platform is designed to sit downstream of your existing microscopes and upstream of your decision-making, ingesting data from your acquisition systems and connecting to your storage and analysis environments via the API. Integration design is part of how we engage with every enterprise client.
Is my data secure, and who owns it?
You retain ownership of your data. The platform is built on strict data-integrity and traceability principles (ALCOA+), enterprise deployments include the security and confidentiality arrangements your organisation requires. We're happy to walk your IT and QA teams through the details.
Do I need coding or machine-learning skills to use Sight.ai?
No. Sight.all is built so biologists can run rigorous, reproducible image analysis without writing code. At the same time, computational scientists can access everything programmatically through the API, both profiles work from the same underlying, auditable system.
Who is behind Sight.ai?
Sight.ai was founded by a team combining deep bioimage-analysis science and pharma-industry experience, co-founded with Institut Pasteur, and guided by a Scientific Advisory Board of internationally recognised leaders in quantitative cell biology, AI, and bioimage informatics. The founding science is peer-reviewed, including publications in Nature and Nature Communications.
How can I try Sight.ai or start a pilot?
We work with early partners through pilot projects: we define a use case together, benchmark the platform on your data, and design the integration path. Contact us through the website to discuss a pilot, request a demo, or ask about pricing for your team.
